VIDEO: Gunshots fired, 10 arrested as Tanga Tanga, Kieleweke groups clash in Nyeri

Chaos erupted on Sunday afternoon in Nyeri after rival groups allied to the Kieleweke and Tanga Tanga factions clashed outside Giakanja Boys Secondary School where Deputy President William Ruto was set to preside over a fundraiser.
Police were forced to fire in the air to disperse the rowdy youth some of whom were arrested with crude weapons including knives and rungus.
Reports indicate that more than 10 people have been arrested.
Some of the youth were captured chanting pro-Ruto slogans at they set on fire t-shirts branded “No 2022 politics.”
