Umoja Summit Party Leader and Presidential candidate, Mr Walter Mongare popularly known as Nyambane has assured members of the Gusii Community leaving outside Kisii and Nyamira not to be worried about their investments spread across the country.

He assured that the upcoming general election will be largely peaceful and issue oriented and not tribal and personality driven as we continue to witness with the current politicians who are spreading hatred and malice instead of focusing on issues affecting Kenyans.

Speaking to Leaders of the Omogusii Tuinuane Association, an empowerment community-based organization with over 77,000 Members in the coastal region, Nyambane once again, reminded Kenyans that the official campaign period is yet to start and those vigorously campaigning are doing so outside the stipulated dates by the IEBC.

The community assured the candidate of their total support from the Coastal region and committed to mobilizing the region beyond the community to vote for him. .

Mr. Walter Mongare who launched his bid less than three weeks ago has steadily been gaining ground and recently showing a 1% popularity in a recently concluded research by Centre for African Progress Press, putting him on the race alongside Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto.
