Was murdered Nakuru female prison warder raped? – Weekly Citizen

Police are investigating if a female prison warder who was kidnapped by a male colleague and body  found in a morgue in Nyahururu, Nakuru county was raped. Nakuru Women GK Prisons warder Carol Chepchirchir was reported  missing on April 3, 2019.After days of search,it emerged her body was found dumped in a thicket in Subukia.

The late  body had a number of  injuries on chest,hands,head and legs with her mobile missing.

Sleuths are investigating her mobile phone calls and messages to reveal if she had any confrontations and exchanges with a second party. Officer Joseph Kairu, also a prison warder based at Nakuru GK Prisons is a key suspect.Kairu was the last man to be seen with the late and appeared before Nakuru Court Resident Magistrate Wilson Kituru.

Investigators  have questioned those the late Chepchirchir was having a drink at night in Nakuru Township before she was kidnapped. Also not left out in the investigations are the owners and staff at the joint.Another angle being pursued is whether the late was involved in love triangle .
