Kenyan Premier League side Wazito FC has confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Peter Odhiambo from Gor Mahia.
The club’s goalkeeper trainer Elias Otieno hailed the acquisition of Odhiambo noting that he will be a great addition to the team.
“I feel good to be here, and I want to thank God for this opportunity. I want to urge the supporters to back us heading to the new season and we will deliver the goodies,” he said.
Otieno said having featured in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation’s Cup that experience has helped Odhiambo become a better goalkeeper.

“He brings quality and experience in the team. He has that winning mentality which is also very important. He has featured in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation’s Cup and played against English Premier League side Everton and all that experience has helped make him a better goalkeeper,” he added.
Odhiambo who failed to renew his deal with Gor Mahia becomes the eighth signing of the club after the arrival of Jackson Juma, Kevin Okumu, Vincent Oburu, Mark Otieno, Kevin Kimani, Boniface Omondi, and Edwin Omondi.
