After a shameful exit from AfCON, Harambee stars jetted back in to the country on Thursday july  4th morning unnoticed without Coach Migne.

Report that emerged soon after their touchdown was that their French coach had been sacked after the dismal performance as compared to their Ugandan neighbours who progressed.

Coach Migne and Captain Wanyama

This raised eyebrows as to why he did not travel with the team. It was alleged that he is ashamed of the results having given Kenyans so much hope that this was their time to shine in the continent.

However he failed as Kenya was defeated by Algeria and Senegal, only managing to win against Tanzania.

This was terrible in view of the fact that a lot of resources had been used by the team for preparation.

Stars were banking on Cameroon defeating Benin for them to have a chance of qualifying for the round of 16.

However, Benin’s barren draw against Cameroon ended Kenya’s narrow chances of advancing to the round of 16.

Others who did not travel back with the team are Japan-based forward Michael Olunga who is heading back to Japan where he will link up with his club Kashiwa Reysol and China-based winger, Ayub Timbe who is equally heading back to his club Beijing Renhe.

What Kenyan fans are watching is whether Migne who has been so friendly to the FKF will sacked soon or later .
