Comedian Oliver Otieno, who is better known as YY, is one of the top stand-up comedians in Kenya.

The funnyman has resorted to online comedy after Churchill Live Show performances came to a sudden end after Covid-19 broke out, leading to public gatherings being restricted.

Well, YY has been enjoying a great audience for his online content creation.

And just like any other proud child, the comedian has decided to put a smile on his mother’s face by building her a nice house.

In an IG post, the comedian shared a photo of the just-completed house that he built for his mother.

YY confessed his love for his mother.

“No long post Alert….NAKUPENDA MAMA YANGU❤❤❤,” he captioned the picture of the new house.

He also shared a past photo of his mother in her former mabati house just to highlight the transformation.

YY really loves and respects his mother. This is because of how she struggled to bring them up after their father passed on while they were young.

He said in a past interview that even before his death, his late father was an alcoholic and very abusive to his mother. This is why he swore never to drink alcohol in his life.

He also said he would never send more money to any woman except his own mother.

He warned his fellow men against sending money, especially to women who are not their wives.

YY has a sister whose outlook in life is both innocent and funny.

Bridget, the content creator’s sister, followed in YY footsteps and created a niche of her own in the industry.

And with the help of her elder sister, she has been able to make great strides in the industry.
