Kenyan funnyman Kevin Oduor Dede, alias DJ Shiti is battling claims of being a deadbeat dad.

Shiti’s baby mama Fash Hussein appeared to finger her former sweetheart for not supporting their child.

In an Instagram post, Fash stated that Shiti is a good-for-nothing father who only sends Ksh150 monthly as upkeep for their daughter, Mariam. She shared a Mpesa screenshot accompanying a bitter post that described Shiti as a witch.

“Tangu lini 150 inalea mtoto??? Mchawi ni wewe!!! Jiheshimu.” She wrote.

Kenyans were quick to launch an offensive in favor of the gagster. They cited harsh economic times, with some women even confessing that their baby daddies never support them and Fash should be thankful.

Here are some of the comments:

Jeddy Wa Leah – “He is trying others are dead alive aki baby daddy with fatherless heart.”

Khakimondosi Okhwa Ndeke – “That’s enough if you ask me. What is the mum bringing to the table? It’s a shared responsibility. If the Ksh. 150 is constant then there’s nothing wrong. Being a celebrity doesn’t necessarily translate into the money that society expects. More so, even if he has the money, he must not waste the whole amount on child upkeep when he has a future to build.”

Cynthia Mum Gloria – “She should be thanking him for that 150. Some of us don’t even get 5bob.”

Lisa Waweru – “Can’t you hear his initial is comedian, so he’s putting comedy skills into practice.”

Kevo Maraka – “That is a lot of money. Where do some people get huge amounts like that from? I think it could be wise for him to send only ksh50 per month.”

Yùtman Denõh – “He was very attentive at the men’s conference.”

Connie Darrel – “Congrats Shiti, at least you are trying, others are deadbeat fathers.”
