It’s the go-to video conferencing app for many people around the world, but it appears that Zoom is experiencing issues this afternoon.
According to Down Detector, the problems started at around 13:10 BST, and are affecting users worldwide.
While the reason for the outage remains unclear, of those who reported issues, 70% reported problems logging in, 15% had issues with the website, and 13% were struggling with server connectiong.

Speaking to Mirror Online, Zoom confirmed that it is investigating the issue.
A spokesperson said: “We have received reports of users being unable to start and join Zoom Meetings and Webinars. We are currently investigating and will provide updates as we have them. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.”
Several frustrated users have taken to Twitter to discuss the outage.
One user said: “Zoom is down I’m so stressed out.”
Another added: “It’s the first day of fall classes at the university I work for and Zoom appears to be down for my campus. This is going to be a fun day.”
And one wrote: “So Zoom is down on the first day of school. Nice.”
Zoom is a video conferencing service that has surged in popularity amid the coronavirus lockdown.

At its peak, Zoom counted more than 300 million daily participants in virtual meetings, while paying customers have more than tripled.
