A total of 16,691,191 vaccines have been administered across the country as of February 28th 2022, against a targeted population of 27,246,033
Of these, 7,838,509 are partially vaccinated while 7,611,589 are fully vaccinated.
In the last 24 hours, 53,053 vaccines were administered, while the total number of people fully vaccinated in the last 24 hours is 32,094.
At the same time 32 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hrs from a sample size of 5,480.
The positivity rate now drops to 0.6%, with 25 of the cases Kenyans while 7 are foreigners.
21 are males, 11 are females while the youngest is a three-year-old child and the oldest is 62 years.
In terms of County distribution, Nairobi has 27, Mombasa 3 and Turkana 2.
13 patients have recovered from the disease, 10 from various health facilities countrywide while 3 are from the Home Based and Isolation Care.
According to the date from the Ministry of Health, a total of 39 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 496 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program. 3 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and all of them are on ventilatory support
