Four State House staff members have tested positive for Covid-19, the Spokesperson in the office of the President and head of PSCU Kanze Dena-Mararo has revealed.

Ms. Dena-Mararo said that the workers were tested during last week’s mass Covid-19 testing held on Thursday, June 11.

“As part of proactive measures being implemented to contain the spread of Covid-19, State House staff are regularly tested for the disease,” said the PSCU head.

She said the tests are conducted on all staff, including President Uhuru Kenyatta and members of his family.

“The infected officers were admitted at the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital in Kiambu County for treatment,” said Ms Dena-Mararo.

But the President and the First Family are safe and free from Covid-19.
