Why single men are getting it rough this quarantine period

If there is a group of people that am pretty sure are finding it hard to cope during this quarantine period is the single men fraternity.

For instance, dear ladies you all know how we bachelors tend to live a simple and easy life and one that matches our personalities.

Imagine thinking that you will just budge into a single guy’s house and expect to find a fully stocked fridge or rather fresh home cooked food.

With the country already adopting the lock down system, I tend to believe the single men out there are already finding it tough to cope with this whole quarantine thing.

Here are the reasons why;

1. No food stuff

Most monied single men would rather spend a fortune eating out than go home early and prepare a meal.

Others are used to having women over who don’t mind cooking before leaving and boy with the current situation, kuna watu wanakunywa strungi na picha za kuku since even vibandaskis are closed.

2. Self company

You know it’s all fun games when you are not married or co-habiting until Corona decides to visit your country.

That is when you realize you don’t really love being alone for 24 hours and start cursing your single self.

I mean even during this period small small fights with your significant other would act as entertainment.

3. No women = self servicing

What they never told single men is that social distancing means no one to satisfy your manly needs.

This simply means even those of us who don’t believe in self pleasure will soon begin to think “What’s the worst that can happen?”

4. Risk of becoming drunkards

Kenyans are a social lot and that means when it comes to drinking we are more of social drinkers.

With bars and pubs closing and events canceled, the only option left is for the single men to drown their boredom and sorrows by themselves.

Most would rather stay drunk or tipsy than fix a simple meal and this would result into them becoming drunks or lead to other health risks.

5. Temptations

Just imagine if your house used to flood with a bevy of beautiful women then all of a sudden you are made to settle for video calls just to not feel alone.

This might lead to temptations and that mboch you never paid attention to starts to look kaudu s3xy.

What’s worse is that you start getting close to your beautiful neighbor forgetting she is in a relationship but on lockdown, and since both of you are alone and miserable, you start sending those ‘Will you be my quarantine partner’ risky texts.

Before you know the quarantine period is over, feelings were caught and she can’t stand the thought of you bringing other women to your house.
