‘Davido doesn’t even have the good vocal box’ Tekno’s manger throws shade at Nigerian artiste

Tekno’s manager is starting a fire he cannot put out.

This was after news broke on social media during the week that Tekno, a.k.a Slim Daddy will go on a music hiatus after damaging his vocal cords.

The decision comes due to Tekno experiencing repeated strain.

Tekno’s manager said other pop stars such as Davido, Wizkid, and Tiwa Savage don’t suffer vocal cord damage because they do not do live band performance.

 it can happen. Wizkid, Davido, and others are always on the move for shows around the world too but they have never recorded such because they don’t do a live band like Tekno

He added, mentioning that Davido does not have a good vocal box:

Tekno performs with a live band in all his international shows and even some in Nigeria. Davido doesn’t even have the good vocal box and that why his voice sounds that way.

As for Wizkid and Tiwa, Tekno’s manager said that Wizkid does mid-tempo songs which saves him and Tiwa has a good vocal training background.

Wizkid too can do high tempo music; its always mid-tempo songs. Tiwa started professionally with good vocal coaches and all that, I’m sure that helps her a lot.

According to him, other great international acts endure such problems and not the likes of Davido and Tiwa.

The same thing that happened to Tekno happens to international musicians too; they just have to treat it and rest the voice for some time to heal up
