Responsibilities
- Perform general vehicle fitting work. Must be able to work independently on Motor Vehicle Seats; Roof Linings; Door Panels; Office Seats; Sofas etc.
- The Fitter is responsible for installing and fitting vehicle accessories including vehicle exterior, interior, media and entertainment and security related accessories depending on vehicle type and model. He/she will also fit cushions and chairs.
- Personal Attributes: An individual on this job requires to work as a part of team and must be able to work long hours. The individual should have good understanding of vehicle accessories.
Qualifications
- Minimum Government Grade Test III or equivalent Diploma/Certificate
- At least 3 years’ experience in reputable Garages
- Experience in motor vehicle repair
- Technical knowledge
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to use a range of tools
- Ability to work methodically, paying attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
