New Auditor General: Selection panel sworn in

The selection panel recruiting the Auditor General has been urged to be impartial and ensure that they appoint competent candidates who will uphold international best practice.

Speaking during the launch of the selection panel the Public Service Commission Chairperson Stephen Kirogo said Kenya had taken a path to fight corruption and there must be an effective Auditor General who will ensure the dream is realized.

The Selection panel Chairperson Sammy Onyango called on the panelists to ensure they uphold integrity, objectivity, impartiality in decision making while holding its proceedings in selecting three nominees out of the 69 shortlisted.
