Oats are a nutritious cereal that have become increasingly popular due to the benefits they offer the body. They are high in fibre and, according to Medical News Today, have cholesterol-lowering properties. As a breakfast meal, oats are quick to prepare. They will leave you feeling full for longer. 

Ingredients:

Oats

Apple, chopped

Sugar

Cinnamon

Milk

Hot water

Method: 

1. Place oats, sugar, cinnamon and chopped apples in a pan. Add hot water and place on the fire.

2. Stir and as it begins to cook, add the milk. 

3. Keep stirring as you allow the oats to cook. They burn easily so be alert.

4. Once cooked, serve. Drizzle honey on top and enjoy.?
