To add a little kink to the whole recipe, you can throw in some grated strawberries. Strawberries have a bitter-sweet taste and they will make your cake have a fruity aroma.
Marinating meat
Before grilling your meat, you use an array of spices to sweeten your meat.
Adding some red wine to the mix will make your whole grilling experience marvelous.
Not only will the wine add its strong flavour to the marinating process, red wine also contains acids that will help in tenderizing your meat. Additionally, the wine will help your meat remain moist while it is being grilled.
The marinating process should take at least an hour or two to allow the wine to really sip into the meat; do this while occasionally turning your meat to allow every side to be properly coated.

Not only is red wine useful in the preparation of meat before grilling, but it can also be used in preparing meatball stew or as a dip.
For the stew part, after preparing your meatballs, you can pour in a tot glass of wine into your stew and stir in your meatballs. Stirring allows the wine to nip into the meatballs.
While you can use the wine in the stew, you can also use it as a dip for the meatballs in case you plan on having them fried.
Using your tomato sauce, add some red wine to the sauce and mix well, then deep your meatballs into the sauce as you eat. The taste is heavenly.
Mixing ice cream and fruit salads
Do you ever find yourself in a dilemma of either having ice cream or wine for dessert? You can actually have both.
Red wine blends in perfectly with vanilla ice cream. The sweet taste of vanilla ice cream is complimented by the flavour of red wine and the combination tastes amazing.
Also, you can add few drops of red wine to extremely frozen ice cream before churning it together.
For the fruit salad, you can mix in the fruits you want to use for the salad and add some yoghurt to bring out a punchy taste before adding in your red wine.
The blend of yoghurt and red wine in the fruits is to die for, although yoghurt is optional. Also try to blend your salad with fruits like strawberries, raspberries and grapes that tend to have a tart and sweet taste.
Making popsicles
You can also use your red wine to make popsicles. This can mainly come in handy with leftover wine that you can’t drink from a glass.
Popsicles are frozen juices eaten on sticks. You can mix your wine with a fruity juice and freeze them overnight on sticks and enjoy them the next day.
To make your popsicles a little interesting, you can blend raspberries or strawberries and add to the juice mix before freezing them. Just to give your popsicles a natural sweet flavour.
