Three killed after lorries collide and burst into flames at Sagana bridge

Three people died on Sunday evening in a road accident involving two lorries at Sagana bridge on Makuyu-Makutano Highway in Kirinyaga County.

According to Mwea-West Police Commander Aden Alio those who died are drivers of the two lorries and the turn boy.

He says they all died on the sport when the two lorries collided head-on and burst into flames.

Confirming the accident, the police boss, said a  Toyota Probox vehicle also caught fire in the accident but the driver escaped unhurt.

The bodies of the deceased were moved to Murang’a mortuary.
