Agriculture Chief Administrative Secretary Anne Nyaga says the project will target households with more than five family members in a project aimed at providing alternative livelihoods to households.

The project aims at mainstreaming nutrition in the agriculture value chain with each house receiving five vegetable seed varieties as well as grants to venture into fish and poultry farming.

Under the initiative, a group of households will be offered grain dryer to minimize post-harvest losses.
