Churchill Show honours late comedian with emotional clip

Churchill Show honoured one of their own, comedian Kasee, with a moving video after he passed away recently.

The latest episode, which covers journeys of Kenyan comedians, started with a tribute showcasing some of the sets the young comedian performed on the famed show.

It then gave fans a glimpse of some of the events that took place during Kasee’s burial including a shot of Churchill delivering his speech.

The short clip also showed the late comedian’s final journey before his burial which took place in Itumunduni village in Matuu, Machakos county.

It also revealed the comedian was only 29 years old with a quote to always remember him.

Tuko had earlier reported the young comic, born Joseph Musyoki Kivindu, was laid to rest on Saturday, July 4.

The ceremony was attended by celebrities including comedians, actors and even the man who gave him a chance at the big stage, Churchill Ndambuki.

Even under the high restrictions amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, it was clear to see that many were willing to go and pay their last respect.
