Flamboyant pastor Robert Burale left his followers worried after sharing a touching video from his hospital bed.

This comes after the man of God announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19, saying he was devastated, angry and scared for his life.

In the video shared on his Instagram Stories, he could be seen lying on his bed, weak and having a lot of difficulties with his breathing – even though he was using a ventilator machine.

Burale begged his followers to take precautions to avoid being in his position.

“I beg you, do not get to a place that you have to buy oxygen. My oxygen levels are getting better, bless you all,” he said.

The trendy pastor hoped his condition could be a lesson to those still in doubt, cautioning those travelling upcountry to be extra careful.

“Let this be a lesson to Kenyans who are just playing around and making fun. If you’re not careful, you’ll take this thing to your old parents and put them at risk. One day I will give the testimony, God bless you guys,” he said.

One could spot messages popping on the screen with many wishing him a quick recovery.

Burale disclosed in a lengthy Instagram post to have learnt of his condition on Wednesday, July 1, saying the battle belonged to the Lord.

The father of one said he had finished recording a Facebook programme when he started struggling with his breathing and immediately rushed to Nairobi Hospital.

He described the tough environment he encountered in the ward and was also scared to see grown men fighting for their lives.

Burale spent the next couple of days fighting for his life and noted he was responding well to treatment thanking God and the doctors for his recovery.
