The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has launched a manhunt for two armed gangsters caught on camera in a shooting incident in Nairobi on Tuesday, July 14.
In the video, the duo was seen escaping on a motorbike after a botched robbery in Eastleigh, Nairobi.
Onlookers scampered for safety after hearing gunshots, with some scrambling to enter into nearby shops.
However, a few of them stood outside to watch the scenario. The victim, a man dressed in a black suit and white trousers was shot at as he stared at the thugs who were running away from the scene.

“Robbers shot someone in a botched robbery in Eastleigh 14th street. These guys must be brought to book,” the eye witness tweeted and tagged the DCI.
The sleuths responded an hour later affirming that the gangsters would be tracked down.
“Good evening, detectives based at Buruburu have commenced investigations into this unfortunate incident with the aim of bringing the culprits to book,” DCI responded.
The detectives added that the victim had been rushed to a hospital and was in a stable condition.
On Monday, June 29, DCI detectives in Kilimani apprehended two thugs caught on camera robbing a pedestrian along Lenana Road in Nairobi. The duo was armed with a knife and a gun.
The detectives confirmed that they tracked down the robbers to their hideouts in Kawangware, Gatina and Pangani estates.
The two, Timothy Jahan Muzami and Humphrey Minyata were arrested a few days after the footage was shared on social media.
