The musician finally shared where he met his wife and partner in crime back in the days.

The musician who brought a new meaning to Kenyan love songs revealed his wife was once a fan but she was not attracted to his fame or money.

Speaking to The Standard, Wyre said he met his better half at Carnivore grounds in the early 2000s when she approached him for an autograph.

According to the celebrity, his wife wanted an autograph for her sister who was a huge supporter of the singer.

Wyre added that he was part of the audience during the talent show. At that point, they both had no idea they would end up together forever.

The pair met again at an event when his wife approached him again for an autograph.

The singer said his lady had lost the other signed paper she had and was determined to get her sister Wyre’s signature.

“One thing that struck me when we started talking was she was not interested in me because of my music. I am the one who chased her and that really excited me,” the singer said.

The two got married later in 2008 and have been together ever since.

In 2018, the father and husband renewed his vows alongside the love of his life after spending 10 beautiful years together.

Wyre and Hanifa threw a lavish garden ceremony and invited close friends and family to spend the day with them.

The two dressed in wedding attire and had professed their love for each other yet again as their loved ones watched.

They both looked like they had seen each other for the first time and their love was even stronger than it was in the beginning.

The happy family man said numerous times his family is his legacy and he tries so hard to shield them from his fame.
