David Ndii Owes Kenyans An Apology For His Imprudent Tweet Terming Them As Sheep

David Ndii has lashed out at Kenyans through his tweeter handle and abused them badly while trying to bring some attention regarding a case where one of Kenyatta’s niece, was involved in a COVID-19 tender to the tune of Sh 84 million to supply a mask.

He should all the same rise above pettiness, and leave some tweets to the illiterate politicians and villagers who have nothing else worthwhile to discuss.

Such a statement is misplaced and not expected from a man of his caliber who should be in the forefront in advising the fragmented ODM party, how it can win the hearts of many in the coming 2022 Presidential elections.

Furthermore, there is nowhere in the constitution or the existing laws of Kenya, barring President relatives with legitimate companies, or even the President himself, from doing business.

If the tenders followed all the laid down regulations, and the people given supplied all that was required, it’s in order. In most instances during such a pandemic, open tenders are not even necessary, as single sourcing method, can be used for the same to be delivered in a timely manner.

Using the COVID tenders to abuse Kenyans is uncalled for and he should apologize without delay and continue to focus on other ways of bringing harmony to people fighting a pandemic.
