The 41-year-old former Destiny’s Child songstress had, in fact, praised her former band mate following the release of the epic video series Black Is King.
Taking to social media, Michelle shared a collection of stills from the visual album with her 966,000 Instagram followers and pointed out some of her favourite parts of the film.
“When you’re trying to figure out what your favs are from #BlackIsKing! Ehhhhhhh just post ‘em all!!” Michelle penned in the caption.

However, some fans of the Destiny’s Child singer were quick to point out that Michelle didn’t feature in the visual album and they wanted to know why.
“Where you at in the film tho?” one follower asked.
Williams quickly hit back, saying: “I’m in the upper right corner minding my business!”

The Say Yes singer has since turned the comments off under her supportive post.
Beyoncé‘s new project – curated alongside directors Emmanuel Adjei, Blitz Bazawule, Ibra Ake, Jenn Nkiru, Jake Nava, Pierre Debusschere, Dikayl Rimmasch – offers a visual companion to her Lion King album.
It seems that some fans had an issue with fellow Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland starring in Beyoncé‘s Disney album whereas their band mate did not.
After all, the trio fronted the Grammy-award winning group Destiny’s Child until 2006.

However, other fans pointed out that Beyoncé and Kelly have been life-long pals and that some viewers had taken the topic too seriously.
“Bey & Kelly’s sisterhood’s beyond deeper than just Destiny’s Child, so it’s odd Michelle’s always called out whenever the two are seen without her,” wrote one Twitter fan.
“Michelle is never mad about it, I don’t know why everyone stays pressed trying to make an issue where there isn’t one,” added another fan.

A source at the time confirmed that there had been tentative talks among the famous trio about a reunion, however nothing has been signed off just yet.
