125 of the 674 were from home-based care while 549 are from various health facilities in the country bringing the cumulative number of recoveries to 11,118.

The Health CS on a sad note also said that we had lost 14 people to COVID-19 making the cumulative number of fatalities to 413 people.

In conclusion, CS Kagwe urged all Kenyans to seek medical care for other diseases.

“Our health facilities are open to people with other diseases, not just COVID-19, we have separated the COVID-19 cases from other hospitalised people. Let’s not fear to seek medical care. So msiogope, endeni hospitalini kama mko na ugonjwa.”

Kagwe in the same breath urged people to maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating healthy foods especially non processed ones which will, in turn, build the immunity.
