Comedian Eric Omondi seems to have had enough of Kenya Film Classification Board boss (KFCB) Ezekiel Mutua’s criticism on any entertainment content that he chooses to create.
Taking to social media, Eric, who was evidently pissed off, wanted to know what he might have ever done to Ezekiel. He said the KFCB chief he had never had anything positive to say about him or his “content yet he defends politicians who are caught up in ugly stories”.
“Lakini jokes aside ni nini nliwai fanyia huyu mzee. This statement is very archaic. The work of a creative or any serious comedian like myself is to simply mirror the society. I reflect our behaviours as a people so that we not only laugh at ourselves but pick a lesson or two. Bwana Ezekiel, please wake up these things are happening in our society and we need to ask ourselves why?” read part of Eric’s rant.
In a video posted on the actor’s page, Ezekiel is heard condemning content creators who have opted to promote ‘immoral’ content concerning the Safari Rally, which was held in Naivasha over the weekend instead of promoting Kenyan culture.
This is after there were a lot of online jokes of Subaru men tagging along with the girlfriends of the men who are broke to got to Naivasha for a rally getaway experience.
