Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen is one of the most vocal Kenyan politicians today.
The man, who not long ago held the influential position of Senate Majority Leader, and who is an influential lawyer, grew up just like any other rural Kenyan child.
Murkomen is usually active and forthright on social media.
Today, 1st July, he wowed his fans and supporters with a trip down memory lane, when he unleashed online a past photo of him as a teenager standing alongside his father.
“A #TBT with Dad, the year was December 1994,” he captioned the 16-year-old photo,
The politician could remember every single detail about the photo, and the highlights of the church sermon that was preached on that day. “The Venue: Tambach Teachers College. Purpose: Attending Tambach Convention. Sermons by the likes of the Rev Dan Odhiambo and Apostle Simon Komol. Life Lesson: Trust the process,” wrote the father of two.
And from then, he really took the sermon seriously and “trusted the process” and that’s why he is who he is today.
Murkomen is also funny person, who is always exciting his fans with interesting photos.
A few days ago, he portrayed himself as the professional dowry negotiator that every aspiring husband needs.
“Certified dowry negotiator!” he captioned the photo.
The senator is also a lover of the football game that he indulges in during his free time.
And on a Friday, he dresses casually for work and relaxes as he waits to usher in the weekend.
“Friday mood!” he once posted.
Murkomen really adores his family and he regularly posts pictures of himself and his wife Gladys Wanjiru on social media.
Some days ago, he excited his fans by saying that was still perfecting his expression of his love life and his wife is happy with him.
“Updating my mistaris!” he penned down in reference to interesting photo of the loving couple.
