Tusker FC Crowned FKF-PL Champions

Tusker FC have been crowned the Kenya Premier League champions after finishing the season top on the standings with 65 points.

The brewers secured the crown on the final day of the 2020/21 season after edging out Bidco United 2-1 at Utalii Grounds in Nairobi, on Sunday, 22nd August.

Rodgers Aloro and Henry Meja scored for Tusker as David Orem netted a consolation for Bidco.

KCB, who were title contenders, concluded their campaign with a 3-0 win over Nairobi City Stars, sealing their second place with 62points, three points behind the champions.

Bandari finished third with 53 points after beating Wazito FC 2-0 at Mbaraki Grounds in Mombasa.

AFC Leopards finished fourth with 48 points while Kariobangi Sharks closed in the best top-five teams with 46 points. Outgoing champions Gor Mahia came seventh with 45 points.

Tusker FC who have now won their 13th Premier League title, having waited since 2016, and will represent Kenya in the Confederation of African Football ( CAF).
