Kenyan standup comedian Lucy Mwende Kariuki, who is popularly known by her stage name, ‘Kayellow Yellow’, is in a very tricky situation – both sad and joyful.

This is because the witty girl popular for multi-coloured stage costumes has to juggle between mourning and being happy at the same time.

This is because she just lost her father at a time when she is expecting yet another child.

Mwende took to her IG today, 25th August, to share some exciting baby bump photos.

And from the look of things, she will be embracing her new born baby not so long from now.

This comes just a day after she broke the news of her father’s passing on.

“Rest in peace dad🌻, till we meet again 😓,” she mourned her father.

The mother of one once recalled how she travelled to work in Saudi Arabia for three years, leaving her months’ old daughter behind.

Thank God that she is now able to stay home and raise her children by herself.

Mwende kick-started her comedy career after she emerged a finalist in the ultimate comic competition.

She is also a clean content ambassador with Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB)
