Matiang’i exposes list of land, choppers, properties DP Ruto owns

William Ruto Net Worth: Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has exposed a list of properties that are owned by Deputy President William Ruto.

Matiang’i exposed the list while giving details of the number of police officers who have been assigned to DP Ruto.

According to the list, DP Ruto owns 15,000 acres of land Laikipia County, 2,537 acres of land in Taita Taveta and 395 hectares in Trans Mara.

The deputy president also owns five helicopters which occupy two hangers at the Wilson Airport.

According to Matiang’i, the deputy president and the list of guards allocated to him is as follows:

1). Kitengela Gas: 6 police officers

2). Weston Hotel: 4 police officers

3). Murumbi Farm in Transmara with 395 acres: 6 police officers

4). ADC Laikipia Mutara Ranch: with 15,000 acres: 6 police officers

5). Dolphine Hotel, Mombasa with 3 hectares: 6 police officers

6). Mata Farm in Taita Taveta with 2,537: 6 police officers

7). Private residence at Elgon View in Eldoret: 4 police officers

8). Koitalel Poultry Farm in Eldoret: 4 police officers

9). Private residence in Kosachei, Eldoret: 4 police officers

10). Kwae Island Development Ltd – Wilson Aiport 2 Hangers and 5 Helicopters: 5 police officers.

According to Matiang’i, DP Ruto is currently the most guarded deputy president in the history of Kenya. Matiang’i told the National Security and Administration Committee that the DP has the highest number of officers dedicated to him. He has 257.

Earlier on, the deputy president had dismissed calls to have Matiang’i explain why his security officers had been replaced. “Parliamentary time should not be wasted on non-issues,” the deputy president had said.

However, Matiang’i and his Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho were quick to appear before parliament in a move that has been interpreted as meant to show property owned by the deputy president in a bid to trash his hustler narrative. CS Matiang’i and the Deputy President hardly see eye to eye.
