Ferdinand Omanyala Introduces Girlfriend, Says She Paid His Rent And Other Bills

Kenyan splinter sensation Ferdinand Omanyala has appreciated his girlfriend for taking care of him when he had nothing and supporting his vision.

Speaking when he received a Ksh1.5 million cheque as a reward from OdiBets this afternoon, Omanyala revealed that a few months ago he was very broke.

The fast-rising star opened up about his lover to sort all bills without complaining.

“Last year I was living in Huruma Estate and life was hard. I trained for six months without any competition and we had no money, thanks to my girlfriend, she was paying the rent,” he said.

Omanyala praised her for being submissive even when she had more money than him.

“She was working and so she would come home and share her money with me. After every training, she would massage me and it felt so good,” he said.

The athlete promised to reciprocate the love now that he is starting to get a breakthrough in his career.

On Saturday, September 18, became the fastest man in Africa after breaking the continent’s 100 metres record.

During the Kip Keino Classic competition held in Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi, he ran 9.77 seconds.

“I have conquered Africa, next I’m going for the World record.”

He started his career in 2016, but in 2017 he was slapped with a 14-month ban after testing positive for a banned substance.

The splinter said the suspension has shaped him to be who he is today.

“I felt I was a victim of circumstance. It was a painkiller and then it turned out it had a steroid in it. It gave me resilience and made me stronger,” he said.
