Bomb experts have been deployed to Yare Plaza in Eastleigh, Nairobi, after unknown people left a note in the lift claiming there was an explosive device in the building.
According to Starehe Sub-County Police Commander Julius Kiragu, the search operation is ongoing.
As of Thursday afternoon, no explosive device had been found in the five-storey building.
The note stated that the bomb was programmed to go off anytime from 1pm.
