Okere Unveils Provisional Squad Ahead of 2022 AWCON Qualifiers

Harambee Starlets head coach Charles Okere has named a provisional squad of 31-players ahead of the 2022 African Women’s Cup of Nations Qualifier against South Sudan.

Starlets are scheduled to take on South Sudan in the qualifier with the first leg set for October 20. The return leg will be played on Sunday, 24th October. Both matches will be played in Nairobi.

The finals are set to be held in Morocco with the top three teams from the tournament booking slots in the 2023 Fifa Women’s World Cup. The ninth edition of the global tournament will be co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia.

The team is expected to report to camp on Saturday, 9th October, at Lamada Hotel.
