A particular “Cloudripper” is mentioned in the code. A name is seen in Google’s product model documentation for the GS201. Because the GS101 is the Tensor SoC utilized in the newest Pixels, we may deduce that Cloudripper is a development platform for a Tensor successor.
As a result, Google is already working on its next chip generation. This confirms that the American company would continue to rely on its own SoCs to power its different products, including smartphones and the Pixelbook.
