Inserted into the phone dialer, these strings can display details and test various components. This includes details on battery cycles, software and firmware version, quick test menu and other advanced settings.

Some codes are generic and may be compatible with older cell phone models. In addition, companies such as Samsung, Xiaomi and Motorola provide their own codes to access automatic actions on your smartphone.
