Fresh GSU Graduates Vow to Crush Kenyans: ‘Sisi ni Wabaya’

A group of General Service Unit (GSU) recruits has invited uproarious reactions from Kenyans after vowing to brutally deal with the public.

While recording themselves, the fresh graduates said they were ready to take up their new roles, but Kenyans should be worried.

“We have arrived and just know that we are not coming to play. Don’t joke with,” one of the recruits said.

Alarmingly, some of them were holding their new guns.

The clip, which has been circulating since morning, made many Kenyans angry.

At a time when the public is calling for reforms in the disciplined forces over misuse of firearms and power, Kenyans noted that this is not a good gesture.

Some netizens called for firm disciplinary actions against the officers who filmed themselves threatening Kenyans.

“I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. This class should be forced to repeat,” JD Ole Kamuyu wrote on Facebook.

Martin Black noted: “They look like a gang in Kayole. The excitement is too much. For an officer, discipline and humbleness are paramount.”

However, others said the graduates were just overexcited after completing their training.

“The young boys are just thrilled after graduating. It’s unbecoming conduct, but let them be,” Muugi Wanjata stated.

President Uhuru Kenyatta earlier in the day presided over the 48th passing-out parade of GSU at the National Police College Embakasi B Campus in Nairobi.

He warned the new graduates against lawlessness while safeguarding the rights and freedoms of Kenyans.

“To serve successfully, you must uphold the law, abide by all applicable rules and regulations, follow the orders of your superiors, and above all, commit to serving this nation with courage, integrity, courage, and discipline,” the Head of State said.
