A KCSE candidate was found dead in his grandmother’s house in Kopiyo village, Homa Bay County on Monday, December 20.

On his part, Rachuonyo East Sub- County Police Commander Justus Kucha confirmed the incident, emphasizing that police were seeking to unravel intrigues behind the incident.

He stated that the body had been moved to Rachuonyo South Sub- County hospital mortuary where a postmortem would be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.

Meanwhile, in Kisii County, a man hacked his wife and two children before he surrendered himself to the police.

The man, Dennis Asiago, thought he had accomplished his mission of killing his family when he presented himself to the law enforcers.

However, villagers discovered that they were alive and rushed them to Kisii Level 6 Hospital.

Neighbours stated that the suspect was prone to causing domestic brawls.

“He was telling her that the children are not his. This woman came here recently. She has not been married for long. This is his third wife.

“He keeps on marrying and remarrying. He also attacked his second wife before she abandoned him,” a neighbour told a local daily.
