Joy as mothers welcome new babies on new year

It was double celebration for hundreds of mothers in the country who welcomed new born babies slightly after the stroke of midnight. The mothers expressed joy and the comfort of receiving their bundles of joy as the world ushered in the New Year. Pumwani Hospital recorded 21 births from midnight to 6am on the 1st of January 2022 with the first delivery coming at half past midnight and the youngest mother being a 16 year old.
