The year 2021 could not just end minus a mini-drama from controversial musician Ringtone Apoko, who has recently joined politics as he will be eyeing the Nairobi Senatorial seat in the 2022 General Elections.

Hours ago, Ringtone took YouTuber Mungai Eve on a house tour in his mansion and revealed that he loves the finest and classy things in life. He says that his house has ten large bedrooms.

“My house has 10 bedrooms. All my bedrooms have names. My bed is worth 300K, it even does massage on someone. My carpet is worth 700K. My seats are from the UK.”

When asked whether he was looking forward to getting married soon, he said that he is too young for marriage but assured his fans that when he decides to quit bachelorhood, he will say ‘I do’ to a woman of African descent.

“I love African women, I can never marry a white woman. I am still young.”

Ringtone revealed that the house belonged to his sponsor, a Swedish woman, who was looking after him since he is an orphan.

“This house belonged to my mum, a lady from Sweden who was sponsoring my education. My dad died before I was born, and my mother abandoned me before my dad died.”

In 2022, Ringtone will be in the race to replace the outgoing Senator Johnson Sakaja who has declared interests in the Nairobi Gubernatorial seat. His political adversaries include lawyer Karen Nyamu, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, and ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna.
