New year shocker as over 2000 EPZ workers’ contracts are terminated

Workers at the Export Processing Zone in Athi River are up in arms with the company management after they were barred from accessing the premises this morning after they failed to re-apply their contract for renewal. The workers who had just returned from the December holidays claim they were told to reapply for their jobs afresh.
