Bishop Gakuyo’s Filthy Rant Against Female Politician: ‘You’re Naked, Buy Underwear’

Controversial pastor David Kariuki Ngari, better known as Bishop Gakuyo has been bashed by a section of Kenyans after using unhygienic words to criticise a female politician.

Speaking during a function in Thika, Kiambu County, he censured former area MP Alice Ng’ang’a, whom he described as an “outsider”.

In his rant, the man of the cloth said Ng’ang’a should be barred from contesting for the seat.

He asked the residents to elect one of their own as the next Member of Parliament since the incumbent Patrick Wainaina aka Wajungle has declared interest for the Kiambu gubernatorial position.

Gakuyo said he was the right man to succeed Wajungle.

“We must protect Thika at all cost. The outsider (Alice Ng’ang’a) must be stopped from ‘stealing’ our constituency. I want to assure this area will not be held hostage by outsiders.

“That woman has been coming to this place to show us her behinds. She should first buy underwear to cover her nakedness,” he said, drawing cheers and jeers.

Ng’ang’a will trying to recapture the seat using the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) of Deputy President William Ruto while Gakuyo is an ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Recently, the former lawmaker said she has no apologies for people asking her to go an seek a parliamentary seat in Kigumo where she hails.

“The constitution allows all of us to live anywhere we want. I believe I’m the best fit for the people of Thika. My blessings are in Thika and not Kigumo,” she said.

Gakuyo is infamous for scamming hundreds of people into “air” under the guise of land.

Individuals who had invested their money in Gakuyo Real Estate and Ekeza Sacco have been demanding their a refund, but the majority of them have been dismissed by the company.

In 2020, the bishop said he would refund all the money he owed to investors, but that promise is yet to be honoured.
