Celebrated gospel musician Kambua Mathu’s little son is growing up to be a kind and compassionate young man.

Posting on his Insta Stories, Kambua revealed that his three-year-old baby kissed her knee and told her, “sorry mama”.

Perhaps thinking mama was unwell? Haha, far from that.
When he saw his mom wearing ripped jeans, he thought someone had frayed them.

“My son asked me what happened to my jeans. I said: ‘It’s fashion, the tailor did it’. He kissed my knee and said: ‘sorry mama’,” she wrote.

The young boy wants to see her mother always happy and cannot stand seeing her hurt.

Lately, Kambua has been sharing the joys and challenges of motherhood.

She describes her son as naughty, but also charming and the love of her life.

The singer has been noting that the boy has found a way of giving her ‘mini-heart attacks’ while making fun.

“We are in the kitchen. I was busy. My son comes running with excitement in his eyes and says, ‘Mama I poo-pooed in your sufuria!’ I froze. Then he bursts out into fits of laughter. Of course, he had not. But surely he really enjoys making my heart stop. Raising boys is an extreme sport,” she wrote recently.

In another Insta story, she said: “My son has learned to say ‘No’! And I don’t think anyone could have prepared me enough for this. It leaves me speechless each time. Like, you have an opinion now? I need a support group or something.”

Before welcoming her son, Nathaniel alias Nate, Kambua had waited for the blessing of the womb for more than seven years.
Unfortunately, last year she lost her second son just days after he was born.

A few days ago, the Citizen TV gospel show presenter said she has lost people close to her, including her father, but the death of the little boy was defining and she is still healing.
