Preparations are in top gear ahead of the Amani National Congress (ANC) National Delegates Conference meeting to be held on this Sunday.
This comes after a section of Youth from the Western region declared their support to Musalia Mudavadi’s Presidential bid.
They exuded confidence that the Amani National Congress Party leader will be on the polls come 9th of August this year.
Speaking in Vihiga the ANC allied youth said Musalia was the best bet yet for Kenya.
The youth called on Kenyans to be part of history during the ANC National Delegates Conference meeting to be held on 23rd this month.
On Sunday, Mudavadi had asked Kenyans to exercise patience and wait for a major political announcement on January 23rd during the Party’s National Delegates Conference.
Mudavad fell short of fielding questions on the NDC agenda, his position on the highly anticipated announcement on his presidential bid and choice of coalition.
Mudavadi, however, claimed that Kenyan youths were restless on the slow pace with which some presidential candidates were moving and were eager to shape their destiny.
He hinted that the youth were raring to vote in for a leader who will empower them economically by availing the required opportunities to start businesses.
The party leader restated that he did not boycott the recent OKA meeting at Elmentaita lodge saying he was preoccupied with preparation for the impending NDC.
According to Mudavadi, his visit to Nyamira was to gauge the party’s support.
A section of leaders from Western Kenya have faulted the ANC Party for failing to unite the Luhya community as the country prepares for the August Polls.
