Brentford boss Thomas Frank has signed a new contract, which will keep him at the club until 2025.
The news was confirmed through the club’s official website on Monday, 24th January.
The 48-year-old Danish coach expressed his excitement after signing the new contract.
“I feel privileged to be a part of the success we have had as a group at this fantastic club. I have been here for five years and I am very pleased that I have the opportunity to be here for longer,” Frank was quoted as saying by the club’s website.
“I have been part of building the club over the past five years and have enjoyed working with a brilliant staff and unbelievable group of players. Everyone can see they have a fantastic work ethic that they show every day.”
Assistant coach Brian Riemer has also put pen to paper on a new deal.
“I am very pleased that Brentford and I have agreed terms to continue this journey together. Most of all, I am pleased that I am going to be part of the next three-and-a-half years with this team. I believe we have so much more to give and more memories to create.
Frankm who was previously an assistant head coach under Dean Smith, took charge of the Bees in October 2018.
He guided Brentford to promotion from the Championship into the English Premier League last season after a 70-year absence.
Brentford are currently 14th on the Premier League table with 23 points after 23 matches.
