A quote by a Facebook page under the name of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s daughter, Ngina Kenyatta, has excited Deputy President William Ruto’s son, Nick Ruto.

In her post, Ngina appeared to be encouraging Kenyans not to give up, but Nick interpreted it his own way

.“There’s a higher calling trust me, a higher place than your current, a refined place, better, more free, more mature and more stable,” she wrote.

However, Nick claimed that Ngina was indirectly saying that she supports his father to succeed President Kenyatta.

“Ngina Kenyatta joins Hustler Nation. This is the gospel we are preaching. We believe we hustlers can make Kenya a better place for all Kenyans,” he said.

Some Kenyans accused Nick of trying to misconceive her message and using it to promote his selfish political agenda.

Reactions:

Stephen Mwanzi: “Some people are genuinely rich. Thay cannot join thieves.”

Christine Wanja: “This is a message Uhuru is sending to the public through his daughter.”

Benson Mutuah: “So you think your father will be President, rule like Museveni, and groom you to succeed him as the next President? Kenyans are not fools.”

Mamake Abby: “Hustler will make our nation a hell. People will regret voting Ruto should he win.”

Davin Van Ruto: “Preaching? Dude, I thought you went to big schools than some of us?”

Winnie Nelson: “Uhuru’s kids are most disciplined.”

Mbarikiwa Jackson: “If you call yourself a hustler, then I don’t know where I fall leave alone standing.”

Arap Kipkemini: “If you read Ngina’s statement, where does hustler come in? Reduce what you are taking.”

Moses Shikutwa: ‘We are preaching’. A lawyer who has not mastered the Queen’s language. Are you going to defend your client in your mother tongue?”
