Cotu Boss Atwoli’s Wife Joins DP Ruto’s UDA

Rosalinda Simiyu, the second wife of Central Organisation of Trade Unions (Cotu) boss Francis Atwoli, has joined Deputy President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.

She was welcomed to the party by DP Ruto during a rally held on 28th January in Bungoma County.

“Huyu ni bibi ya ule jamaa wa nyororo (She is the wife of that guy who loves wearing bling bling),” Ruto said as he gave Rosalinda the microphone to introduce herself.

“My name is Rosalinda Simiyu. My husband is known as Francis Atwoli. I am inside the hustler movement,” she said.

“I beseech Kenyans to stop gambling at political odds. Ruto won’t make it. I am not seeing how,” Atwoli said at a presser on August 8, 2021.

Atwoli is an ardent supporter of Azimio la Umoja under former Premier and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

He says that Raila is al leader with a wealth of experience in economic matters and devolution, thus making him an ideal fifth President of Kenya.

TAtwoli has many children with his three wives, Jenifer Atwoli, Rosalinda Simiyu, and KTN’ journalist Mary Kilobi.
