The Employment and Labor Relations Court has directed the Public Service Commission to review, audit and make recommendations on human resource policies and practices of employees of the Communication Authority. Justice Monica Mbaru faulted the move by the State Corporations Advisory Committee to undertake the roles maintaining that according to the constitution, it is the Public Service Commission that has jurisdiction and authority over state corporations and that the committee can only can only exercise human resource powers on behalf of the commission. The commission will now in two weeks advertise afresh vacancies that had been advertised by the committee.
