Fire razes down furniture shops in Hamza along Jogoo Road

Property of unknown value was destroyed following a dawn fire in Nairobi’s Hamza estate along Jogoo Road.

Witnesses said the fire broke out at a business premise that houses furniture shops, destroying property of unknown value.

The early morning incident disrupted transport services on the busy Jogoo road.

Firefighters from the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) arrived at the scene and contained the fire.

The cause of the inferno is yet to be known.
