NTV Journalist Commits Suicide, Decaying Body Found in House

The media fraternity has been thrown into deep mourning after losing NTV journalist to suicide.

Nation Media Group’s (NMG) sports journalist Titus Maero’s decomposing body was found at his home in Lulonda village, Navakholo sub-county Kakamega County, on Thursday night.

According to close sources, Maero was battling depression caused by his health condition. He was reportedly diagnosed with intestinal cancer 15 years ago.

Also, the scribe had parted ways with his wife 20 years heretofore and was leading a lonely life, interacting less with the locals.

“He was last seen in public on Thursday last week, and he was very reserved just like usual,” noted one of the locals at the scene.

The father of two left a suicide note whose details are yet to be disclosed by the authorities.

His body was transferred to Kakamega Referal Hospital mortuary pending investigations.
