The story is Joseph Ekeno sounds like a horror movie or something more than a nightmare.

He was born just like any other child, but at two years, he started to have some complications and behaved weirdly.

His speech was not coming as expected and this changed the trajectory of the lives of those close to him. The mother died a few months after he turned two and all burden was left to his grandma.

“He started fainting and then it stopped. From there I have never had peace,” Lydia Muthoni, the grandmother told Kameme TV.

Joseph, 10, cannot do anything for himself.

Unlike other beings, he likes feeding on grass and everything else that is not human food.

“When I give him food, he just swallows and doesn’t like it all. But when he gets grass, he chews very well before swallowing. Also, he likes dead rats, cow dung, and human waste,” Muthoni revealed.

In addition, when the boy is put to bed, he runs away and prefers sleeping on the floor though he blankets himself.
During the day, Joseph likes being away from home in secluded places.

“I have to keep running after him everything because I don’t want him to be in danger. Many times, I get so tired and feel like giving up,” she said.

Sometimes the child gets physical with his grandmother, especially when she is trying to dress him.

The family has tried to seek medical help, but nothing seems to work. The chains of poverty have made the situation worse.

“I have reached a point I do know what to do. I cry and ask God what could be the problem. It’s just overwhelming,” Muthoni said.
